What We Do

GVEG is a grass roots community organisation who act as a voice for the environment. We continuously advocate for the environment in the Goulburn and Murray valley region, and across Victoria and Australia. We are also one of the regions oldest Landcare groups. We have campaigned for new national parks, organised community events and forums, and worked closely with local communities. We are always looking for new members who share our passion and a love for the environment.

To improve the health of the natural environment in the Goulburn Valley region by:

  • advocating for greater environmental awareness, responsibility and accountability within our community; and

  • supporting direct action to achieve positive environmental outcomes and mitigate threats.
